Shawn Carter is the BEST!! I had a maintenance issue and he drove an hour and a half to take care of it on a Friday night. He is by far the best tech I’ve met! Thank you, Russ for reaching out to address the issue. I am updating the review to reflect the type of service we have experienced in the past. I am hopeful a solution is forthcoming. Your professionalism is the exemplar for customer service.LaurenWe built a 350K home and moved in last fall. The AC wasn't used much until now and cannot cool below 70 on a hot day. The techs have been there 3-4 times about the problem and keep spewing BS about the system should be expected to cool to 20 degrees below the outside temp and anything more is unrealistic. This is complete BS and let me explain why. I am 51 and was born and raised in Florida where the temp regularly exceeded 100 F with the heat index and humidity. Our homes always stayed a nice chilly 68 F. Never, in all my years, have I needed to be "realistic" about the AC only cooling to 20 degrees below outside temp. When I called this morning for yet another service call, the "manager" decided it was a good idea to hang up on me. Totally unprofessional (and I called her back to let her know). She is the one being unrealistic in terms of expecting me to accept not only her fantasy reality about AC's, but also her lack of professionalism. I'm giving 2 stars because the actual technicians have been very professional and seemingly competent in working toward a solution.

Quickly isolated the problem. Explained exactly what needed to be done. Made the repairs--AC's working great now! ...and carried his out work safely--wore gloves, mask and foot coverings when in the house.

We just moved in to a brand new town home (new construction) and discovered the sewage line had backed up into our basement. This on the heals of a very stressful move and it being Thanksgiving Eve at 6pm. We called the emergency line for MEP Partners and spoke to, "Olympia", who was professional, attentive, and kind. It took her a couple of hours to get a hold of someone on a holiday evening to assist us. We also contacted the project manager for our town home development who helped Olympia facilitate getting a technician from MEP Partners. Eventually, MEP Partners was able to find a technician to come to our home. We were grateful! Shawn arrived at midnight and stayed until the job was done at 2:30am! Thanksgiving morning. Turns out, there was gravel in the sewage line that was backing up sewage into our home. Shawn had to snake the line multiple times, use a heavy duty vacuum to suck rock out, and flush the line with water. He recommended the builder power wash the line to ensure all the rocks are cleared. (Hopefully, this will happen in the next few days). He also adjusted the water temperature in all the bathrooms as we noticed we were not getting enough hot water during showers. He did not have to do this, but he took the time to ensure we were satisfied. Shawn was responsive, professional, helpful, and kind to us. If we could request anyone for our future plumbing needs, it would be Shawn. He came out late on a holiday evening and has a family of his own. We are grateful for his knowledge and expertise. Thank you Shawn for coming to our rescue!

Timeliness, Service, TechnicianVery punctual, scheduled time was 0800-1000 and showtime was 0755. Quick and honest fix of swapping the diverter valve. Even helped to diagnose additional issue with laundry washer box. If more issues need to be addressed, would like to have the same technician again.

Sean drove all the way from Charlottesville, Va to Clarksburg, Md, on a Friday night, and arrived at my home at 10 pm to try and fix my broken tankless water heater. He spent 2 hours trying everything possible to get my system to work again. He was incredibly dedicated to solving my problem, and as a customer, I really appreciated his hard work! Sean is a huge asset to MEP, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience with him, and the company. Great job on hiring such an outstanding employee who understands how to deliver excellent customer service!

These guys were great. They explained everything to me, even called the home warranty company, HMS, to work with them to expedite. Great company, I will use them again, but I will stay away from HMS national home warranty company, terrible service. It took them more than 7 weeks to get a new hot water heater. They sent it to the wrong place twice, and then ordered the wrong one. Unacceptable

I signed up to receive the maintenance package. The first day i had Eric who greeted with me a firm handshake and introduced himself and why he was there. He did all he could however i had frozen coils and it wasn’t much he could do so he scheduled me for the next day and let me know everything i needed to do to make sure the system was ready for the follow up visit. Next i got Gary, he came in with a firm handshake and greeting as well. Gary was super open and honest about everything. He walked me through steps i can take to prevent energy waste during both the summer and winter months. He made sure i was well informed on my options as far as repair options and prices. Very excellent service over all!

Once they come out, I’ll update my review accordingly.MEP Home Services will be embarrassed by the plumbing work that was done at my house. MEP serviced my home warranty on my new house. I had them come out to fix a leaking drain trap on the sink. The first time they came out, the plumber made a wad of plumbers putty around the leaking area. Obviously this didn’t fix the problem. Still leaked - I had them out again (through the home warranty) and the plumber replaced most of the drain piping under the sink. I looks awful as you can see in the pic. Best part is, it still leaks from the exact same place. The union joint is crooked because the glue joints aren’t straight. It never had a chance to seal.I’m out of the warranty period on my house. I called and asked if MEP would guarantee the work they did a few months ago. The person on the phone said they would not stand behind the work they did and I would have to pay to have someone come out. I’ll have to rip out the work and redo it myself.

I had a great experience with MEP. Willie Williams was fantastic! My water heater broke down and came under the repair of American Home Shield. Mr. Williams said he would not be able to do the job that day the other job that are we scheduled. I thank God that Mr. Williams had a heart he saw how upset I was not have any water for 2 days and mopping up water. He worked us in, although he knew the job was going to take time and he would have to work late to complete the other scheduled jobs. I want to say thank you to MEP for allowing him to put in the hot water tank. I will use them agim without American Home Shield thank you Willie Williams and MEP.

I was scheduled an appointment for Tuesday 07/18/17 for a check up on my AC blowing warm air. John, the technician, told me what was wrong with it in detail. I received an excellent and prompt communication from John, the technician and Ross, the manager. They both did wonders for me. My AC has been replaced today without any hassle and pressure. The impression I got from them and the company they represent are excellent. I would not hesitate to contact them for an appointment. They are very honest people.
